Five Lessons

In 1948, Neville Goddard taught a five-night class in Los Angeles that has become the most sought-after distillation of his entire teaching. Each evening he delivered one lesson β€” a complete, practical statement of the law and its application β€” to a class of students he challenged to test everything before the week was out.

The five lessons build on one another:

  1. Consciousness Is the Only Reality β€” the foundation, and the technique of prayer given in full.
  2. Assumptions Harden Into Fact β€” the Bible read psychologically, and the power of the assumed state.
  3. Thinking Fourth-Dimensionally β€” time, the future occupied now, and the mechanics of the imaginal act.
  4. No One to Change But Self β€” the mirror of consciousness and the daily practice of the drowsy state.
  5. Remain Faithful to Your Idea β€” persistence, and the closing counsel to walk as though you were it.
